Our team

Gilles Cauvier founded the accounting and tax firm GCT with Christian Godin and Marcel Thibodeau in 1991. Over the years, his hands-on involvement as a partner has contributed to the organization’s reputation and success. Following the merger of GCT and St-Laurent Grégoire Avocats, he is now a Vice-President at Escient.

Mr. Cauvier has more than 32 years of experience in accounting and tax. For over 25 years he has specialized in consulting for the dental field.

His mission is to help dentists increase the profitability of their practices when dealing with a new association between practitioners or a clinic acquisition, sale or relocation. He regularly steps in to help settle disputes between dentist-shareholders.

His calm, meticulous and pleasant nature helps him guide his clients using his expertise, which is widely recognized in the industry.

Outside of working hours, Mr. Cauvier enjoys challenging himself by running competitively.
