The holder of bachelor’s degrees in accounting and law, and a master's degree in taxation, Stéphane Grégoire has more than 22 years of experience with professional firms. After working at Fasken Martineau, Ernst & Young and KPMG, he assumed the top position at St-Laurent Grégoire Avocats in 2009. After the firm’s merger with the GCT accounting and tax firm in 2020, he became an Escient Vice-President.

Known for his depth of knowledge and talent as a teacher, Stéphane is active with Chartered Professional Accountants Canada as a tutor for professionals taking the CICA In-depth Tax Course. He has written numerous articles and leads conferences for the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Tax and Financial Planning Association and the Quebec Bar Association. He also offers members of the
Laurentian Dental Society training on professional services agreements, shareholder agreements, cost-sharing agreements and indivision agreements.

Stéphane is fully committed to his clients’ success. He guides them through everything from corporate acquisition and sale projects to reorganizations. With his well-known attention to detail, he writes their shareholder agreements or drafts and negotiates their commercial leases.

In his spare time, Stéphane can often be found on a golf course. He travels regularly to stay sharp, and enjoys culinary pleasures with friends and family.
