Our team

Daniel Poirier has 20 years of experience as a professional accountant. After working on a wide variety of mandates for one firm, he decided to join our team in 2013. He is now VP,  Assurance and Accounting.

Daniel helps his clients manage their companies, particularly their day-to-day operations. Organizations also call on him for their assurance projects. He is responsible for two internal files at Escient: quality control of financial statements and staff training. Candidates for CPA certification can always count on his mentorship.

He is known for his tenacity in the projects he undertakes, and keeps his colleagues entertained with his sense of humour.

Outside the office, Daniel loves camping and enjoying the outdoors with his family. He spends a lot of time at the rink cheering on his four sons, who all play hockey.
