Caroline Lavoie studied at the University of Sherbrooke where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in law in 2010. She completed her professional internship at the firm Heenan Blaikie before joining one of the largest law firms on the North Shore of Montreal, where she worked for nearly 10 years in banking, commercial and transactional law. As a senior and associate lawyer she has represented small, medium and large companies as well as several financial institutions.

Over the course of her career, Caroline has worked on numerous transactional cases where she has represented both the sellers and buyers in a wide variety of industries. She has acquired considerable experience in commercial financing as well as in security, by participating in the establishment of guarantees or during the realization thereof. She also served for several years on the board of directors of a Credit Union, notably as chair of the human resources committee and on the board of directors of a childcare center. Caroline likes to use her very pragmatic side and offers simple, clear and effective advice.

Outside of work, Caroline enjoys spending her free time with her family. She has also been running and cross-country skiing for years.
